2. Description of Service

PhotoSplit Studio provides a browser-based utility for detecting, cropping, and splitting scanned photographs. The Service is provided 100% client-side; we do not store, host, or transmit your images to our servers.

3. Permitted Use

The Service is provided free of charge for both personal and commercial use. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service for its intended purpose of photo digitization.

4. Intellectual Property

  • Your Content: You retain full ownership and all intellectual property rights to the images you process using the Service. We do not claim any rights to your photos.
  • Service Content: All software, code, designs, and text content on this website (excluding your photos) are the property of PhotoSplit Studio and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

5. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.
  • Use the Service to process content that violates any third-party rights, including privacy or intellectual property rights.
  • Automate access to the Service (e.g., using bots or scrapers) without express written permission.

6. Limitation of Liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PHOTOSPLIT STUDIO DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PHOTOS, OR REVENUE LOSS ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PhotoSplit Studio and its developers from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Service operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
